Communications

The Communications Office at the Harvard Graduate School of Education promotes the research, opinions, and ideas of the faculty and the dean of the school, as well as the mission of the school.

The office oversees external and internal communications through press outreach, publications, electronic media, and collaborations with other offices around the school.

We are a resource for news media seeking faculty experts for both breaking news stories and stories about education trends. In addition, the office promotes and publicizes the news and research coming out of the school.

Please direct all press inquiries for the Harvard Graduate School of Education to Jill Anderson, HGSE News Officer, at 617-496-1884 and jill_anderson@harvard.edu.

The office produces the school's award-winning magazine, Ed., which is published three times a year and features the innovative work of faculty, the institution, and alumni in the field, as well as latest developments at the school. The office also produces the Harvard EdCast, a weekly series of podcasts with thought leaders in the field of education from across the country and around the world, and leads the school's social media and social networking efforts.

Alumni who wish to share important news about their work or about the work of fellow HGSE graduates should send a letter to the editorial staff.

The office creates and maintains the top-level pages of the school's website and keeps visitors apprised of news from and events taking place at the school.

In addition to serving external audiences through its efforts, the office offers a range of creative services to staff and faculty within the school. For more information, please contact us by calling 617-495-3616 or by contacting a member of the Communications staff.

The Communications Office also maintains the school’s visual identity guide.
